Gary Hoachlander is a nationally recognized expert on improving high schools and transitions to postsecondary education and career. He has focused especially on integrating challenging core academic instruction with demanding technical curriculum emphasizing authentic application to complex problems in the world of work. Susan Choy, President
Susan Choy has been conducting research for more than twenty years on issues related to postsecondary education, particularly student access, persistence, and financial aid, for the U.S. Department of Education and other clients. Author of numerous reports on these topics, she also has assisted in the design and analysis of various cross-sectional and longitudinal postsecondary surveys conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics. Elliott Medrich, Vice President
Elliott Medrich oversees MPR’s business development and external affairs. His research focuses on methods for analyzing student outcomes; the design of systems for collecting student- and school-level data; and the evaluation of teacher instructional practice. He has been Principal Investigator for many U.S. Department of Education projects. Currently, he also advises the Annenberg Foundation on the implementation and evaluation of instructional coaching in Pennsylvania. View Bio
